A new study by American Century Investments finds that employees significantly regret their decisions not to save more for retirement early in their careers.  It also finds that – although the promise of higher income may seem more appealing – most survey respondents would rather have their employers match their savings contributions.  Eight (8) out of 10 employees would like their employers to give at least a “slight nudge” to encourage retirement savings.

The fifth annual study includes responses from 1,500 full-time workers (grouped by ages 55 to 65 and 25 to 54) who participate in their employer’s retirement plan.
