Online Portal to Assess Your Cyber Risk

Through a series of 36 questions, broken down into six (6) categories, you can evaluate your cyber-security risks in order to spot your vulnerabilities and recognize your strengths.  We suggest that you consult with your IT expert after completing the assessment, so you can take whatever hardware and/or software measures you need to in order to implement the cyber security protections that DFS requires.

The online portal is serviced by Allgress.  Once you answer all 36 questions, the Allgress system will notify NAIFA-NYS staff, and staff can generate a unique report for you, for your reference.

(For log-in and other information, please refer to the step-by-step directions included in the e-mail we sent you.)

Cyber Policy Template

Covered entities must have a written policy for managing their cyber risk.  The NAIFA-NYS policy template is designed for an agent to adapt to his or her business, based on the results of his or her risk assessment.  The individual sections in the template policy directly correspond with the required policy sections in the regulation.
